Paying up to 10 places plus a huge BIG FISH cash prize, the Mississippi River Monsters Mega Bucs Tournament Event will prove to be like no other event yet experienced in the world of trophy catfish tournament competition.

With a purse totaling $105,500 and a first-place cash prize of $50,000, tournament catfishing is about to make a giant step forward.

Based on up to 44, 3 person teams competing in the 2023 MRM Mega Bucs Tournament, the following places and payouts will be awarded:

2nd Place $13,000.00
3rd Place $12,000.00
4th Place $10,000.05
5th Place $ 4,000.00
6th Place $ 3,000.00
7th Place $ 3,000.00
8th Place $ 3,000.00
9th Place $ 2,500.00
10th Place $ 2,500.00
BIG FISH $ 2,500.00
Payouts are based on up to 44, 3 person teams.

Big Fish prize will be awarded based on day 1 results only.
This is an optional 2-day elimination event. Only the top 4 finishing teams will have the option to compete on day 2. At the conclusion of day 1, the top 4 finishing teams will be given 2 options. Option 1: The 4 top finishing teams must unanimously agree to split the top 4 place prize money equally and thereby conclude the event after day 1, or, Option 2: All or some of the top 4 finishing teams agree to fish and compete on day 2 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and/or 4th place positions and cash prize awards. If option 2 is elected, teams start day 2 with zero weight and must follow the tournament rules as published. If all 4 teams agree to split it will total out to $21,250
